Picture Happy: Boy Howdy!

EDITOR’S NOTE: This is a weekly feature of my life in photos. Most of the photos are taken and sent to my wife while she’s working as a flight attendant. It allows her keep tabs on her “little monkey,” see our father-son adventures and prove that I haven’t skimped on my Domestic CEO duties.

Just when I start to “worry” about having enough photos for this feature, I get some quality gems. (Whether I take them or they’re sent to me.)
I’m falling in love with this weekly post, because I know The Boy isn’t always going to find joy in waving to cars in the drive-thru.
MY LITTLE BARISTA
The Boy LOVES to help me make my coffee in the morning:
Close it … cup … “boosh utton”
As soon as it starts to percolate, you’d think he found a cure for cancer:
“I DID IT!”

HEAD STRONG
It’s neat – and sometimes scary – to see Crash showing his independence.
Recently, he started trying to dress himself.

TRUCKIN’
A morning treat for a little boy who loves any kind of truck.

BEDDING DOWN
Crash recently made the transition into a big boy bed.
This is how I found him on the first night.

MONKEY BUSINESS
This wonderfully great photo was taken by our friend Stefanie
in the trees at Fort Worth Botanic Gardens.

GOT JELLY?
Crash: “Milk mustaches are WEAK!”

FACE IT!
I’ve already started training The Boy to make “the face.”
