Picture Happy: Bear-ing It All!

EDITOR’S NOTE: This is a weekly feature of my life in photos. Most of the photos are taken and sent to my wife while she’s working as a flight attendant. It allows her keep tabs on her “little monkey,” see our father-son adventures and prove that I haven’t skimped on my Domestic CEO duties.

It’s crazy how random themes develop as I start to put this weekly feature together.

This week’s common thread: Bears. (I know…random, right?)

AGENT FLY KILLER

The Boy is infatuated with hunting for flies.

I’m his sidekick, who actually does all the killing.
He just walks around slapping at things and saying “POW!”

UNBEARABLE?

Crash’s new favorite show is “Untamed Americas” on National Geographic.
Funniest part: During the attack scenes, we yell “hurry, hurry, hurry” at the TV.

‘CUSTOMER IN TRAINING’

My comment to an employee at the Brookshire’s in Granbury, Texas:
“Who ever thought of this was GENIUS!”

LAND MINE

It has started…we began clearing land for our house in the country.

DOG DAYS OF …

What do you get when you have four dogs and freshly tilled dirt?
ANSWER: A lazy summer day in the country.

BEAR HUG

The Boy loves his stuffed animals,
which are affectionately named after Texas Ranger players.

This is Crash with a death grip on Elvis Andrus.

A FACE ONLY A DAD COULD LOVE?

The Boy has a new facial expression that makes me laugh out loud.

“Baby fwench fwies” from Whataburger are usually the catalyst.
